Bargello Kits in Jeweled Tones

One doesn’t often come across pre-packaged needlepoint kits of Bargello designs. Usually Bargello patterns come with suggestions for threads and color schemes only. You then choose the canvas, fibers and embellishments to suit your taste.

However, the other day I came across these two Bargello Kits in Jeweled Tones worked in a combination of needlepoint borders and frames along with bargello or Florentine embroidery designs in the centers. Vibrant gem-tones are accented with Vatican gold thread (backing and tassels not included).

Each design is charted and measures 14” x 14”. Kit contains 12-mesh interlock canvas, 100% wool Persian yarn and gold metallic thread. Pictured left is the jewel-toned shell patterned pillow top, and right is the jewel-toned spires Bargello pattern.
