Yoyo, no hook at all. I love reading about new creative ways to do all things stitching related. I'm really looking forward to the Totally Useless SAL. I've chosen a great container that I will be using for other bargello projects this year. I still plan to use the glass balls for the 365 day bargello project. Althea

I didn't really intend to "hook" you, I just thought that you'd enjoy seeing what others do with their orts...but now that we have you WELCOME!!

I just noticed that the next post is a pattern I used quite a while ago to make a tote for myself, I did "spring" colors and I really loved the finished piece. My eye doesn't 'catch' patterns too easily so I had to look twice at it, so thanks for giving the reference, now I know it was the same pattern. I'm loving this 365 days btw.

Hello Yoyo,

This is such a clever idea! I can't wait to sign-up and start a new Totally Useless SAL. Althea

This is a great idea. Last year we started the "<a href="http://dragonmyneedle.blogspot.com/2009/01/progress-and-new-sal.html">Totally Useless SAL</a>", we don't actually stitch -- we just save the orts from our stitching. I put mine in a glass ball at the end of the year, but other members had even more fun with theirs'. Pop over and have a look at our fun albiet useless, not-quite-a-Stitch-a-Long.
