This FREE embroidery design by Laura J. Perin was originally designed for Blackwork, a form of counted-thread embroidery that is usually stitched with black thread on evenweave ground fabric.
Since the pattern for this design comes with a template drawing which you can transfer to needlepoint canvas, you can use it for Bargello or any other stitch technique you desire. The finished design is 5 3/4″ x 5 3/4″ regardless of the size needlepoint canvas used because of the drawing.
The design was created for Kreinik and uses several of their threads including Kreinik Silk Mori, Silk Serica, and Blending Filament.
