It’s been 100 days! I’ve NEVER stitched this long on a consistent basis!
Today’s pattern, found on pp. 20-21 in Designs for Bargello by Nikki Scheuer, is adapted from a 16th century piece of Italian Velvet. The color photo is on page 78.
The 4-2 step pattern is worked from the bottom center of the canvas upwards, with each row building on the one below it.
I used Paternayan Persian Wool yarn and Silk n’ Ivory to stitch the design.
