Today’s Bargello design is a classical Florentine embroidery pattern with a 4-2 step. It is found on pp. 18-19 in Florentine Embroidery by Barbara Muller.
There are many color possibilities for this Bargello pattern. The designer used 13 different colors to work the original piece. I used 5 different shades of Needlepoint Silk and Silk ‘n Colors by The Thread Gatherer.
