Day 162: Gorgeous Diagonal Bargello Line Design

This gorgeous diagonal Bargello needlepoint line design is worked from bottom right to top left.

The easy-to-stitch 4-2 step Bargello pattern is found on pp. 42-43 in Florentine Embroidery by Barbara Muller.

I used Silk n’ Ivory, Splendor and Needlepoint Silk by Alyce Schroth to work the design.

Interesting Tidbit: Florentine Embroidery

If you are left-handed, try working this Bargello design from the top left to the bottom right; or reverse the slope in the opposite direction.
