Day 178: Sharp Bargello Flame Pattern Variation

This flame pattern variation, found on pp. 82-83 in Florentine Embroidery by Barbara Muller, is worked in a 6-3 step to create very sharp and steep peaks.

The Bargello design also has a lot of color flexibility.

The designer uses 5 different colors in the original piece (color photo on page 83). I used 5 Silk n’ Ivory earth-tone colors.
