It’s time for new beginnings…and a new Bargello needlepoint book.
Bargello Magic by Pauline Fischer and Anabel Lasker hosts this easy Bargello needlepoint pattern, which is on page 72.
It has regular and rhythmic waves of 4-1 steps that undulate over the canvas.
Designed for beginners, it is worked from the top center of the canvas to the right and then to the left to set the Bargello pattern sequence.
The designers suggest working it in wool thread to create a country air. I used Silk n’ Ivory and J.L. Walsh Silk Wool to stitch the entire Bargello design.
