This flexible Bargello needlepoint line design is found on page 89 in Bargello Magic by Pauline Fischer and Anabel Lasker.
It is worked from the center outward to the right and left. A row of 6-1 step stitches is worked first; followed by a row of 3-1 step stitches with a 4-1 step center stitch in each group.
The stitch worked on either side of a pattern repeat is worked in a 9-1 step.
I used Silk n’ Ivory to stitch the Bargello design.
