Day 199: English Lavender Bargello Needlepoint Design

An unusual mosaic pattern develops when this Bargello needlepoint design, found on page 92 in Bargello Magic by Pauline Fischer and Anabel Lasker, is worked in different color schemes.

The original Bargello pattern was stitched in monochromatic shades of purple and lavender with green complements to resemble English lavender.

I used purple and green shades of Silk n’ Ivory to work the design.
