Day 205: Flower Medallion Bargello Needlepoint Design

This Bargello needlepoint design is an interpretation of a 200 year-old historic Chintz pattern. Taken from the Bargello American Chintz Collection by Shirley Delph, this Bargello pattern can be used to create many other designs.

The flower medallion can be used singly or repeated horizontally or vertically. When making small Bargello projects, use one medallion motif and work it on small size canvas.

I used silk threads: Needlepoint Silk, Vineyard Silk, and Alyce Stroth Needlepoint Silk to simulate the look of Chintz.
