Day 207: Chintz Ribbons Bargello Needlepoint Design

One has to be creative with today’s Bargello Challenge design from the Bargello American Chintz Collection.

Intertwining ribbons are the focus of this Bargello pattern. When stitched according to the chart, the design will piece together like a puzzle as you stitch into areas with ribbon portions that have already been worked.

It’s easy to get off track and lose your place with this intermediate to advanced Bargello design. But, don’t despair…whatever you do is still a creative work of art.

I used Alyce Schroth Needlepoint Silks and Silk n’ Ivory to work the Bargello design.
