Day 210: Cross Medallion Bargello Design

The cross medallion is a simple Bargello line design that’s worked mostly over 6 threads. The top, bottom and sides of the cross are tapered for a beveled effect.

Since the complete Bargello pattern is too large for the 3” sample stitched each day, I will stitch each motif and a part of the border separately using an assortment of threads.

For this Bargello motif, I used J.L. Walsh Silk Cord to work the design.
