Day 26: Honeycomb Bargello Design

This honeycomb Bargello design is one of my favorites. It was the inspiration for the Bargello Needlepoint Christmas Lights Ornament, one of 12 designs in the Bargello Needlepoint Christmas Series.

Although the color combinations are infinite, monochromatic color schemes give this Bargello design a three-dimensional look and really make it sizzle and pop!

The pattern has a 4-2 step and is found on page 74 in Bargello: An Explosion In Color by Margaret Boyles.
