Hi Althea,
Thanks for your reply. I know it is a little bit more work, but I really appreciate. Think I'm going to buy a used version of the Bargello book you're now using. Any others that are worthwile (I know you've got an impressive library - LOL).

Hello Ann,

No problem. The first few design posts have the names of the threads I used in them, but I kind of got away from putting them in (thinking no one cared to know). However, now that you're interested I will make sure to put the thread manufacturers in the post each time beginning with tomorrow, Day 40. Thanks for your request, and let me know if there's anything else you would like to see included. Althea

Hello,

Thanks for your reply on my mail a couple of days ago.
I'm really - really - tempted to stitch a bargello myself hence I was thinking ...

I know it will take some extra time, but wouldn't it be fun to mention the kind of threads you used for each design (just brand - not the colours)? I only know the DMC and various silk manufacturers for "normal" cross stitch embroidery, but I don't know the kind of threads used for canvaswork and "thicker" type of embroidery like bargello, whitework etc.

No hard feelings if this is kind of "secret of the trade" - You don't want people to exactly copy what you've stitched ;-).

Kind greetings,
Ann in Belgium
