Day 50: Bargello Medallions Challenge Design

These Bargello medallions are worked in 10 colors. The larger medallions are dark orange through to medium yellow; and the smaller ones are four shades of green.

The advanced pattern is found on page 111 in Bargello: An Explosion In Color by Margaret Boyles. To work the design, use a 6-1 step beginning with the darkest orange color to outline the motifs.

I used Madeira Mouline Egyptian Cotton Hand Embroidery Floss.
