  1. Hello Sara,

Thanks for your encouragement, and I am very happy that you are following the site. Yes, I will be writing about how to make chair cushions later this year. I have a few projects planned; so stay tuned (smile). As for the book, I’m not sure why it is so expensive. When I last checked, you could purchase a used copy for under $10; however, the cost could have gone up as the supply diminishes. The best thing to do is to keep searching online for a used copy that fits your budget. Althea

I am now following this site on a daily basis and have ordered Margaret Boyle’s book which is the inspiration of your challenge. I am interested to know why it is so expensive to buy even as second-hand! Your samples are excellent and I am enjoying the text that goes with each one. I am new to Bargello since November of 2009 and want to get into designing patterns and making up projects (cusions and stool covers etc) in the near future. Perhaps you will be writing about these topics during the course of this year?
    Well done! Sara
