A quirky and fun design to stitch, this Bargello pattern alternates two different sized ogee motifs across the canvas horizontally.
The chart is located on page 73 in Traditional Bargello by Dorothy Phelan.
There is no photograph of the finished design in the book. As a result, accurate counting of the stitches is an absolute MUST.
As with all of Phelan’s designs, color plays a vital role in the look and effect of the Bargello design. She suggests 7 colors and I used shades of Silk n’ Ivory threads by Brown Paper Packages.
