  1. Hello Sara,

I’m thrilled that you had so much fun in March…especially stitching from Golden Hands Bargello. I find this book to be easy to follow and full of great ideas. It’s good to know that you are learning a lot about color. Isn’t Bargello needlepoint wonderful? Have a Happy Easter. Althea

    Dear Althea,
You have excelled yourself with your project in March … I love all of your samples and have just ordered Golden Hands Bargello from Amazon … much more affordable I am glad to say than Margaret Boyles. In particular I love March pattern Days 65, 67, 77, 87 and 90.
For Day 76 did you paint your canvas with acrylic paint or is it a blue canvas?
If it would not be an intrusion on your design work please could you let me know how you access your on screen graph layout as the MS Paint programme I am using is rather frustrating and does not let me enlarge the graph squares enough?
I am working on 2 pieces at the moment one of which is trying to use up half used skeins. I am pleased with the colours I have chosen and am learning so much about colour association thanks to following your ‘Challenge’.
Best wishes to you for Easter
