There’s a holiday for everything under the sun and crafting is no exception. March is National Craft Month, a time to celebrate and honor the craft and hobby industries.
During the month, craft and hobby stores throughout the USA will offer discounts on craft supplies, free projects and a variety of craft workshops and classes. The focus of these activities will be to educate children and adults on the benefits of taking up a hobby or learning a craft.
Believe it or not, making a craft project reduces stress and increases right-sided brain activity which is the center of creativity.
To get involved and take advantage of the savings and activities, visit your local craft shop, needlepoint or knitting place and learn a new craft or revitalize an existing one. And, while you’re there spend less money on supplies as you rack up the savings.
Here are a two FREE Bargello Needlepoint projects to get you started.
