After reading a few chapters, I decided I had to get a copy for my Bargello needlepoint library.

Working with Embroidery Kits

Rating: ★★★★★

This book contains much more than the title suggests. It provides not only the information you need to use embroidery kits successfully, but also dedicates chapters to step-by-step instructions and detailed explanations of Bargello needlepoint, canvas work, cross stitch, crewel embroidery, surface stitchery and silk shading.

ProsCons
Gives detailed instructions on how to make your own embroidery kit including design tips.

Provides little known finishing techniques for framing, rugs, wall hangings and pillows along with the best instructions I've seen to date on the lacing method.

Difficult to find a copy in the USA.

Has to be ordered from the UK with expensive shipping costs.
