Why Do You Choose to Stitch Bargello Needlepoint?

Here are some of the reasons fellow stitchers have given me for doing this kind of needlework. I’ve also included a few of my own.

It’s quick, easy to learn and fun.

I like experimenting with monochromatic color schemes.

The design possibilities are endless.

It’s the only form of needlepoint I know how to do.

The satisfaction of completing a Bargello project is tremendous.

I learned to needlepoint by making a flame stitch bargello pillow.

Every time I think I’ve come to the limit of projects to stitch; someone else comes up with a new Bargello needlepoint idea.

I’ve always thought that there’s no other form of needlepoint as enjoyable as Bargello.

It’s inexpensive and a great way to use up your thread stash.

Once you’ve established the Bargello needlepoint pattern on your canvas, you don’t need to look at charts or graphs to complete it.

I can create my own Bargello needlepoint designs with ease.

Bargello needlepoint is addictive. Once you’ve stitched your first project, I guarantee you’ll be hooked.

There’s something very soothing about Bargello needlepoint—almost hypnotic sometimes.

The world will never run out of inspiration for Bargello needlepoint designs.
